FULL TIME SYSTEM OPERATOR

Tri-County Electric Cooperative, Inc. has an opening for a Full Time System Operator in our Madison Office.  The candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent working knowledge of computers, outstanding customer service skills, the ability to effectively multitask, and must be able to communicate well using a two-way radio and telephone.  The ideal candidate must have the ability to remain calm while making quick proficient decisions in a number of different circumstances including power restoration and emergency situations.

The candidate will be assigned to work the Midnight to 8 A.M. shift.  Occasionally the candidate will be required to provide additional support during the work week and during extended power outage events.

This position will start at $21.84 per hour, and offers competitive benefits including PTO, paid holidays, 401k, Defined Pension plan, and medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
